My Story
I started selling Scentsy in June of 2014. Little did I know it would change my life so much!
It all started when one of my friends told me about the warmers and wax and how she was headed over to my now Star Director, Kaitlyn's house. It was love at first sniff!! I fell in love with smelling all of the different scents and picking out ones I loved most. Scents that sparked memories and enlivened the senses. I bought my first warmer, Cream Tulip Shade, and a 6 pack of bars, including Blueberry Cheesecake, Camu Camu, Yuzu Dragon and Havana Cabana.
After a couple of years on the military base, I moved back home and I had no clue how I was going to get my Scentsy fix so I decided, why not!, what's it going to hurt. If anything I'll get a sample of each scent, a warmer, and a bunch of other goodies! I couldn't believe that there were hardly any consultants back here at home!
I was so nervous but I just couldn't contain my excitement! I was one of the most shy people in class and never really took a chance on anything! Boy am I super glad I took this chance because I definitely would not be where I am today if I didn't. I've become way more confident, I've made so many amazing friends, I've gone live on Facebook on our team page of 300!! And I just went to Kansas City for Scentsy Family Reunion and came back like something fierce! I laughed, I cried, I had my light bulb moments, I was with my tribe, with my Scentsy family. Even though I have never met any of these people in real life, it felt like we've hung out a million times. Scentsy is truly amazing when it comes to being a part of something bigger.
Scentsy accepts anyone and everyone and it was truly one of the most amazing experiences I've had.
Next years , 2018, Scentsy Family Reunion is in Anaheim, CA, with a private concert and a private night at Disney!! I cannot wait to be there with all of my Scentsy fam!
Also, the incentives are incredible!! The incentive going on right now is a cruise on the world's largest cruise ship through the Mediterranean!! How awesome is that!!
Scentsy isn't just another job for me. It's a huge part of my life and I absolutely love it! In a great way, it has brought me out of my comfort zone. I'm definitely not as shy as I used to be and it has helped me talk to new people and make new friends! Also, not only does it help with the bills, it gives me extra spending money that I have used for vacations, Christmas and Birthday presents, and of course just shopping in general. I have been able to take more days off of work now and I'm able to do things I love to do, or do things I've been meaning to get done.
I could sit here all day and talk about how Scentsy has changed my life. It's truly a blessing and I'm forever thankful to all of my customers and everyone who supports me. You are amazing!!
